TomTom Business Solutions has launched a new Software Alliance Program which will allow its partners to access company's technology including HD traffic, routing and road conditions informations.
The new programme is a software integration, marketing, and sales programme, which incorporates core TomTom fleet management technology with the software and deliver additional value to commercial fleets.
The new programme also offers easy access to the company's set of APIs, which will allow the development of integrated 'Over-the-Road' vehicle and driver management capabilities.
Using the APIs and the company's map data, IQ routes and HD traffic, Tom Tom and its partners can deploy solutions including quickest ETA vehicle assignment and real-time ETA calculations.
The users can make two-way communications for dispatching and work-order flow, integrated turn-by-turn navigation, real-time GPS tracking and driver safety features.
