It’s reported that Taigang Stainless, the largest stainless steel producer in China announced to cut its domestic prices for its austenitic hot rolled coils and cold rolled coils by RMB700/ton and RMB1,100/ton for May deliveries in order to response weak spot market. After the adjustment, its ex-work prices for 304 grades hot rolled sheets and coils with thickness of 3mm~12mm to RMB17,100/ton, those for 304 grades cold rolled sheets an coils with thickness of 2mm are at RMB17,600/ton. Meanwhile, Taigang Stainless decided to leave its prices for 430 grade cold rolled sheets and coils with thickness of 2mm unchanged at RMB10, 700/ton for May.
