According to statistics, Japan exported 103,336 tons of stainless steel in October, rising by 2.1% from a month ago.
Among them, the stainless steel exports to China rose by 7.2%; those to South Korea increased by 26.9% and those to Taiwan surged by 32.3%, all compared that the figures in the same period of a year earlier.
Meanwhile, the country's export revenues generated by stainless steel in October reached US$44.0674 million. The export prices of stainless steel averaged at US$4,264/ton, down slightly by 0.6% month on month.
